Race Synopsis:Having his seventh try at stakes class Signore Fox broke through very convincingly taking his overall record to five wins in 17 starts. He settled fourth last one out but improved three wide to be sixth past the 600m. Turning in, jockey James McDonald had him travelling sweetly, ready to challenge and cruised alongside the leaders at the 200m. McDonald kept pumping and the colt came away over the last 100m and had a length and a half to spare at the line. Malahide was third last at the 600m, tracked the winner into the straight, was not able to accelerate with the winner but ran on quite well for second. Ready To Prophet sat outside the pace from the 600m, was second turning in then co-led but was outfinished from pacemaker Jami Lady who fought back well when headed at the 250m but had nothing left over the last 50m.
