Head of Racing Operations
| Alex Steedman joined the Racing and Sports ('RAS') team in 2008. In January 2021, Alex became Head of Racing Operations, responsible for leading a team of form analysts and content writers servicing the Racing and Sports website, as well as the business requirements of local and international wagering and racing organisations. Alex has undertaken project management roles for Racing and Sports, overseeing the development of projects which involve the co-operation of IT, data analysis and content departments. |

As a form analyst, Alex provides selections for upcoming meetings and also reviews feature race programs with a strong focus on Timeform ratings and historical references. His work regularly features on the Racing and Sports website and has been used on other racing focused website and print publications such as The Sportsman, The Racing Post, ANZ Bloodstock News and NSW Thoroughbred Breeders Monthly.
Alex delights in his work having covered a number of international race meetings as a form analyst/journalist.
Highlights include attending the Hong Kong International race meeting in 2012, the 2015 Singapore International Cup and Sprint, the 2018 Japan Derby and the 2022 Royal Ascot.
He was also on hand to witness the racetrack farewells of champion mares Winx and Black Caviar.
