Gosford Racecourse is located 70km north of Sydney on the NSW Central Coast and is the home of the Gosford Race Club.

Gosford racecourse is a unique triangular design of 1710m circumference with a long back straight run from the 1200m start before a tight ‘horseshoe’ turn from the 600m and short home straight of only 250m.

Racing on the current Gosford racecourse began in 1913. Gosford Race Club is recognised as one of the leading provincial racing venues in Australia, conducting more than 20 meetings each year.

Feature events conducted at Gosford racecourse are around the Christmas/New Year period. They include the Gosford Gold Cup, Belle of the Turf Stakes, Gosford Guineas and Takeover Target Stakes that was formerly known as the Pacesetter Stakes. ...
