Playing God showed his class here finishing on strongly late under his big weight to score a narrow but good win. He settled down on the fence in sixth position, before angling out into the clear on cornering. He took a few strides to balance up but came quickly late on to win well. Rohan raced on the outside of the leader Platinum Rocker, over racing. He responded to hard riding and fought the whole way to the line, just finding the winner a little the better in the closing stages. Platinum Rocker was used up to lead at a good pace. He was tired in the straight, but gamely battled on to only be beaten narrowly for second in a close four way finish. *ANZ
