Wellington: Race 4 @ 3.35pm

Plenty of pacesetters engaged. POLYXENA has made a promising start to her career. Gave good cheek in a better race at Canberra on resumption. Will derive good benefit second-up and the booking of Greg Ryan is significant. Astutely placed by Rob Potter and the plan should come off. INVINCIBLE THUNDER has been thereabouts recently. Rider change today and she is very speedy. Will get her chance. EULO MISS bolted in an inferior race last time. Next best. SELECTIONS: Backing #2 Polyxena to win from #3 and #9.

Port Lincoln: Race 5 @ 4:05pm (AEST)

BURNRO was blocked for a run last start so should have finished closer than 2.1L away. Had run on to win at this course and distance at his previous start, his fourth career victory at this venue. Well drawn and Kah rides. Big chance. LADY CONQUISTADOR rated well in a fast-finishing win at this track and trip last time. That followed a resuming second. Could progress third-up. EYE THE WORLD is another last start winner at this course. Deserves respect. BAM is racing well and is worth including in exotics. SELECTIONS: Backing #1 Burnro for the win from #5, #2 and #6.

Coffs Harbour: Race 6 @ 4:55pm

Ferniehurst should take control. TARBERT is hard to go past. Form around him this campaign speaks for itself. Paget back on is no negative given his record on the horse. Steps to open company but with the 6kg weight drop on last start he should be hard to hold out. FERNIEHURST should give a tremendous sight on the speed. Not brilliant fresh but form at this track is top shelf. Claim suits. JEXERLENT isn't out of this. Back sharply in trip isn't ideal but loves a dogfight. SELECTIONS: #9 Tarbert straight out from #4 and #1.

Sunshine Coast: Race 6 @ 6.10pm (AEDT)

LAST ARMAGEDDON has placed at both starts this time in and should be ready to peak having won third up before. Has a win and a placing from two starts here and has won two from three at the distance so ticks a few boxes. Ready to win. ROUGH EDDIE led throughout to score at Toowoomba last start. Has a good strike rate and could take catching again. NOW YOU SEE was runner up to Rough Eddie last start and may appreciate the step up in trip having won at this distance twice before. PUBLISHING POWER is honest and can be in the finish again. SELECTIONS: #6 Last Armageddon to peak and win third up from #1, #8 and #2.
