Wagga: Race 5 @ 3:30pm
Dylan's Deeva should run along with company out deep. WHO'S KNOCKING (3) is a high class mare. Spun her wheels on the heavy track last start at Rosehill. Could've easily won the National Sprint at Canberra prior with more luck. Overall record speaks for itself and she is too classy to sack off one run. 60kg is a slight query but she gets the race run to suit. Yet to prove herself at Wagga also so certainly not past the post. Fast run 1200m plays right into her hands. Top pick. STEPHAN (1) is the danger. Rewarded for his consistent efforts with victory in town three weeks ago. Track was rated heavy that day so whether he can match it with these on the dry remains to be seen. Doesn't run poorly and he'll get last look at these down the centre. Good to see Nick Heywood back in the saddle. ANNA'S JOY (8) was solid at Wellington on resumption. Strips fitter and based on her city performances last time in she can run well. JESTER ANGEL (6) gets some much needed weight relief. MY MAHER (9) won the Snake Gully Cup last year. Deep race. SELECTIONS: Who's Knocking is a deserved favourite. Happy to be with her.
Pakenham: Race 6 @ 3:40pm
Bartoletta draws low and can lead and there will be some pressure. COCO DIABLO (6) won the Maiden easily at Cranbourne third-up from the speed and that reads well for this. Fitter he can make it a double. ABSOLEMM (3) was still new but was an impressive debut winner and then ran favourite in a 64 disappointing. Resumes following a trial hit-out and expect her to be further improved and be right in the finish. I'M CHEEKY (1) mucked the start at Sale, but led and won by a space this grade the one before. He can fill a spot along with EMPEROR'S CHARIOT (4) forgiving the latest. SELECTIONS: #6 Coco Diablo will get favours in the run and rates to be winning.
Sunshine Coast: Race 6 @ 4:00pm
Plenty race handy and expect a solid gallop. GALAXY GURU (1) missed a nose here on the good and then raced handy again and delivered in the 70 on the heavy as favourite. The rise in trip won’t bother and he can win again. SECOND THOUGHT (3) has just missed the last two and they stack right up. He will use the low gate and is a genuine hope. CRAIGLEA VIRTUE (6) won at Mackay and then produced a strong figure in the Toowoomba Guineas. Darws handy and he deserves respect. CERTAIN DOUBT (5) peaks off two runs at Doomben and is in the mix. SELECTIONS: #1 Galaxy Guru finds easier and can keep things rolling despite the weight rise. The selections should have the trifecta covered.
Port Augusta: Race 4 @ 2:55pm (AEST)
Flo Jo Snip and Rustydustysunshine will set a strong tempo. FLO JO SNIP (1) backs up eight days after leading into the straight then tiring to miss a place over 1300m at Morphettville Parks. Form at this trip is a lot better and will be hard to catch this time. JUST PEGGY (7) has finished well back since almost pulling off a win over 1000m at Morphettville Parks in early February. Races well here and at the weights is a definite threat. RUSTYDUSTYSUNSHINE (4) struggled at Gawler recently over this trip. Overall her 1100m record is very strong so worth another chance here on her favoured course. INCUBUS (2) for the exotics. SELECTIONS: Load up on #1 Flo Jo Snip who looks better than these.
Devonport Race 8 @ 4.33pm
Winky Dink to lead again. WINKY DINK (3) looked very good a fortnight back. She led and bolted in. This is out of maiden grade now but hardly a strong race. Tough to beat if running it out. LIMERICK CITY (1) has been gelded since last run. That was a win and on this course. Gets the run behind the leader. KNITTING (7) could sit outside the speed. She tries hard most of the time. MEETONY (2) will be better in a fast run race. CONGOMOTION (4) comes from King Island where he kept winning. SELECTIONS: Winky Dink to win again.
Geraldton: Race 6 @ 5:55pm (AEST)
Fearhildi has good early speed and should lead over Can He Hussel. HOT STYLE (3) just missed a hat-trick at this circuit two runs back then went to Ascot last time and did a great job to finish 3rd over 1500m after spotting the leaders a huge start. Untried at the mile but finds the line like it won't be a problem. SADLERS HILLS (4) is flying at present, beaten a whisker most recently over 1838m at this track. Will be very strong at the end of the mile. FEARHILDI (6) led into the lane but couldn't sustain the pace when 3rd in the Sadlers Hills race here recently. Poses more of a threat back to this distance. Big gap then to FULLY STOKED (7). SELECTIONS: #3 Hot Style will be too good - confident win bet.
