Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 3.
Moe: Race 7 @ 3.00pm
The Great Bratski will use the good gate to his advantage and lead from Troubleshot at a strong gallop. THE GREAT BRATSKI (6) backs up five days after missing out by just 0.4 lengths in a driving finish over 1110m at Sale in heavy going. Drops in grade today and gets the run of the race up on the speed from a good gate. Races well here so looks to have all bases covered. HOT SIZZLE (7) had a five-week break before making up a lot of late ground to finish 2nd over this distance at Mildura last start. Lightly raced filly with plenty of scope for improvement. LORD MAPPERLEY (4) returned from a 320-day spell with an eye-catching 2nd over this course and distance recently. Sure to be running on stoutly again. TROUBLESHOT (5) strips fitter today and will be hard to stop if he can cross from the wide gate without too much effort. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #6 The Great Bratski on the quick back-up.

Cessnock: Race 4 @ 1.50pm
Manno will spear over from the wide stall to lead at a reasonable tempo. BRAZENBROOK (3) showed pace to lead first up over 1300m at Tuncurry only to be cut down by the winner in the closing stages. Strips fitter today and enjoys the perfect run from the inside barrier. Ready to break through. MANNO (2) led and gave a great sight at odds before being overwhelmed to finish 3rd over 1250m at Muswellbrook last time out. That was a massive improvement on his debut performance - winning chance if he continues the progression. PUNCH THE CLOCK (9) has not raced since failing at big odds on debut at Canberra last November. Trialled well at Warwick Farm recently so could be a surprise packet. LAVISH ROSE (6) next best in a pretty thin form race. SELECTIONS: Back #3 Brazenbrook with confidence.
Northam: Race 5 at 4.37pm (AEST)
Eastern. Choice Command, Fingermark and Overthought will lock horns early. ARSINOE (4) appeals first up from a spell. Opened the last campaign with a come-from-behind win over this course and distance then progressed to race well in town later in the prep. Maps nicely behind the pace and should be too strong late. The danger is the race-fit CHOICE COMMAND (1) who stalked the leader then went home too well to win his maiden over this course and distance last start. Lightly raced and open to plenty more improvement. OVERTHOUGHT (5) led from barrier rise to collect her maiden win at Pinjarra recently over 1406m. Won't get it that easy this time but is progressing well. FINGERMARK (2) for the exotics first up. SELECTIONS: #4 Arsinoe to win first up.
