Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Kempsey, Orange, Cranbourne, Warrnambool, Rockhampton & Sunshine Coast.

Cranbourne Race 7 @ 9:30pm

IN HEART'S WAKE (11) just missed resuming in a strong form race and then won by a space before disappointing at Moonee Valley in stronger than this. Going to forgive that and she can return to the winners list coming to peak. VICTORIA STAR (9) won this grade second-up and gets a handy gate again. He’s now won 3/6 and keeps getting better. ALLAGERI (6) made the hat-trick and then didn't have the best of it at Sale this grade. He's a chance. TATA DA GOOSE (12) resumes and keep an eye on the market.SELECTIONS: Punting #11 In Hearts Wake can knock over the favourite.

Warrnambool Race 3 @ 3:30pm

Comiendo may be the one to lead. HANDSOME FIGHTER (2) is an improver who finished it off well second-up after a strong debut. He’s ready to win. Ditto UNDOUBTEDLY SO (10) who will settle closer today from the better gate. Doubt there’s much between this pair. COMIENDO (5) led and missed a lip on debut at Avoca and the 4kg claim brings her right into it. AUVERGNE (4) has trialled following and okay debut for the form yard and a better effort won’t surprise. INTELLECTIVE (7) was okay on debut and gets the blinkers to sharpen her up. Draws well and keep safe. SELECTIONS: #2 Handsome Fighter may have the edge.

Rockhampton Race 3 @ 3:50pm

Worthy Hero and Marway can make the speed. MARWAY (6) has won 6/12 and hardly missed a place and is good fresh. Keeps improving and will be tough to beat running along with a weight drop. SPRING CREEK (4) led and won the CL6 easily resuming and is improved. Sits down in the weights and is a genuine chance to go on. Stablemate BARACHIEL (2) came hard to win this grade resuming as the market expected. Not sure if the rail helps, but he’s a hope all the same. GUISSOLA (5) peaks and his figures suggest he’s also a winning hope. SELECTIONS: With #6 Marway in a good race betting race.

Orange Race 5 @ 4:05pm

First Responder should lead without too much pressure. FIRST RESPONDER (2) has been about the money all prep and a maiden win is imminent. Nosed out at Bathurst two runs back then battled okay to finish 3rd at Canberra last start over this trip. Will never get a better chance. ALSO COOL (1) is a threat first up from a 40-week spell. Opened the maiden campaign with a very close 2nd over 1400m at this track, then failed in town before spelling. Two recent trials will have her ready to run well. FIGHT FOR LOVE (4) made late inroads to get up for 5th over 1000m at Hawkesbury recently. Finds an easier maiden today and this trip suits. CHOOSDAY NIGHTS (3) on debut is worth monitoring. SELECTIONS: This looks the perfect race for #2 First Responder.

Kempsey: Race 8 @ 5:35pm

Good pace from the big field with the leader a bit tough to identify. DODECANESE (7) returned from a brief spell with a handy 2nd over 1280m at Muswellbrook against similar company last start. Was competitive against some very strong city/provincial gallopers at the end of last prep. Looks the winner with that first up run under his belt. COS I'M GOOD (3) ran on stoutly to record an impressive maiden win first up over 1200m at Coonabarabran last time out. Has to go to a new level today but is back in great order and looks up to the task from a nice draw. TRIAGE (1) comes here following an easy win at Grafton 10 days ago over 1200m. Well in after the claim so can play a major role again. ULTIMATE POWER (4) didn't fire first up but is better than that. SELECTIONS: Close the day with a winner - back #7 Dodecanese.

Sunshine Coast: Race 4 @ 8.45pm (AEDT)

CORAL BAY (5) found the line strongly for a close second here last time in an effort that suggested the extra 100m will suit. Has a fine record at this track winning six off 11 attempts. Looks hard to hold out. The former Godolphin gelding SCHUBERT (1) steps out for a new yard. Races well fresh and has a good record at this distance so expect a bold showing off a solid trial. POWERLINE (2) is close to a win after a narrow second at Doomben last time. TRAVISTEE (6) was racing over much further last campaign but has won fresh before. SELECTIONS: #5 Coral Bay loves this course. Backing to win.
