ROSEHILL PARLAY

RACE 1 (4) LUCICELLO: Quality filly has missed a place only once in six starts and is well placed in this class, having measured up to Group company before her recent break. Her size and strength always pointed to her getting better with experience and a recent soft trial when she was never asked for a serious effort has her well-tuned to resume. If they go out hard she will roll home over the top of them.

RACE 8 (5) TRUMBULL: Really deserves a win after three excellent placings since resuming, the latest a tragedy after he missed the start before steaming home to be narrowly beaten over 1000m at Warwick Farm on October 23. This is no harder with the switch to a senior jockey and a 2.5kg drop in weight a positive recipe for success, noting that two of his three wins have been over this trip.

RACE 9 (9) HIGH SHINE: Talented ex-Kiwi mare made an impression in her first local prep last season for the John Sargent stable, her three starts producing two wins and second up to 1600m. Expecting her to make plenty of improvement on her resuming second over 1400m at Warwick Farm 24 days ago when she did herself no favours before the start and had to be passed by the vet at the barriers. She has since produced a pleasing trial effort at Randwick and should be very competitive in this company, dropping 6.5kg off her first-up placing.

TRIAL WATCH REPORT

NOTED RUNNERS November 7

ROSEHILL SATURDAY: Tanker (R6); Malkovich (R6); Blaze A Trail (R6); Vucetich (R6); Cellsabeel (R6); Echo Jet (R8); Sanctioned (R8).

TANKER (Randwick November 1): Impressive Caulfield winner showed he would be hard to beat in the Golden Gift with this impressive heat win over 745m. Took to the Sydney way of going with ease and looks very adaptable by the way he sat back and came wide before rounding them up and forging to a soft win with plenty in hand.

MALKOVICH (Rosehill October 29): Having his second trial and showed the benefit of his first experience to clear out with fast final 400m to win by more than six lengths in 53.81 (33.80), easily the fastest of the 12 trials over the distance.

CELLSABELLE (Rosehill October 29): Looks a likely type from an expert 2YO stable. Strong win in his first trial, going to the line with plenty in hand in 54.40 (34.50).
