TRIAL POINTERS

WARWICK FARM December 30: In the open heats over 821m the win by INVINCIANO (49.08; 34.01) was commendable while soft trials by the Waller stablemates WAIRERE FALLS and YIYI took the eye.

CANTERBURY December 21: Ribchester filly PORTRAY could be a good 2YO prospect for Godolphin after an impressive win her first trial over 890m (56.22; 36.20). Travelled three wide from the 600m but was always under a big hold from Rachel King and had her rivals well covered over the last 200m where she was eager to go faster. Previously noted filly SUPER VOGUE did enough in her heat to confirm the ability she displayed in her impressive trial win in November.

WYONG December 20: FIELDING, an unraced Deep Field 3YO, looks to have a future after a strong maiden heat win over 845m (49.35; 34.54).

WARWICK FARM December 16: There were faster trials at this session but unraced Hinchinbrook filly TICK TICK TICK made a good impression winning her maiden heat over 809m (47.25; 33.60). She travelled sweetly and was always in control, winning by a soft 1.27 lengths in her best result in four trials.

ROSEHILL December 14: AND WE DANCED, a new addition to the Waller stable from NZ, was never put under pressure but there was a lot of quality in the way she closed late for an impressive third in a strong 900m heat (55.07; 34.49). Keen to follow her progress although she didn't make the same impression in her second trial at Warwick Farm on December 30.

HAWKESBURY December 13: The race debut by the unraced PROUD IMAGE, winner of her 2YO heat over 800m (47.91; 34.01), has been a long time coming. She has now won two of her four trials since September.

ROSEHILL November 8: Unraced Press Statement filly SUPER VOGUE really too the eye with the way she went through her gears to record a strong win in her 897m maiden heat (55.56; 35.58). Settled in the back half before getting into her work over the last 500m, making ground easily through the field and easily running past the leaders for a soft 1.7 lengths win.

WARWICK FARM September 21: Pride of Dubai filly PROUD IMAGE sat outside the lead and did enough to dispose of her opposition under a soft ride in faster time than the colts heat (47.59; 34.00).
