Major TAB meetings today are held at Warrnambool, Nowra, Sunshine Coast and Albany.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 1 @ 1:20 PM

AMALFI SPRITZ (1) resumed from a long spell last start with a good fourth when an odds on favourite behind What A Sham who has since gone to town and ran second to the talented Attractable who looks destined for better races. He'll strip fitter here and looks a good chance of breaking through from a forward position in the run. FEARGAL (3) resuming will make her own luck on speed and can run a cheeky race over this trip fresh up on her home track. Don't take lightly. ANDRESS (7) caught the eye coming from well back for a close second at this track last start when first up. She might be starting to put it all together and appeals each way. MON CHEVAL (6) creates plenty of interest on debut and although he'll appreciate further in time warrants plenty of respect for the O'Brien/Lane combination. CONSISTENT CHOICE (5) is capable of improvement at his second time to the races and is one for the exotics. SELECTIONS: #1 Amalfi Spritz has the form.

NOWRA: RACE 2 @ 2:10 PM

SPITFIRE (4) has hit the top five in all four starts to date and will find this easier than recent outings. Strips fitter second-up and should appreciate the step-up to 1400m. Is clearly the one to beat. THE HERALD (7) was a close-up fourth on debut at Goulburn and will take plenty of benefit from that race day experience. Looks a key player. PELHAM (3) is facing the starter for the first time but showed enough in a recent trial to warrant consideration in this. Respect any market activity. WOODSON (10) best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances. SELECTIONS: #4 Spitfire to win.

ALBANY: RACE 5 @ 3:50 PM

SAASMIT (9) is third-up and was good at Ascot the latest fading late from the speed. Fitter for that and has a 3.5kg weight relief. Looks well-placed to take this out. MR CAUSEWAY (5) was good as favourite and then came home and won the CL2 by a space. The star hoop rides first time and will position the gelding on speed. A winning chance. Stablemate CAN'T GET ENOUGH (8) is fast and also presents off a big CL2 win. Will come over and control the race and is a player. CLASSIC MAGNUS (2) won the CL5 here two weeks ago and also has claims. SELECTIONS: Backing #9 Saasmit.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 3 @ 2:10 PM

MISHANI UNTAMED (4) is third-up seeking the hat-trick off a big win this grade at Ipswich. The 3kg claim has her well placed and she can make a winning debut at the track. MINTO'S PARADISE (1) won at this level by a space and has been good in stronger the two since. Has a key jockey switch to the in-form Brad Stewart and draws for the run of the race. ISIS CARMELLA (2) didn't miss by far here second-up in a 68 bringing a big Open 3 win from Mackay. This is easier and fitter she can't be ruled out. SELECTIONS: Backing #4 Mishani Untamed.

MORNINGTON: RACE 7 @ 5:15 PM

MYSTERIOUS ART (2) rand his best race beaten 1.3L at Mornington and it was a good effort. On an 8-day return and is the one to beat holding that form. BUTTON PUSHER (6) was back to form beaten 1L first-up at Colac and that reads well. Fitter he's a player building on that. ULTRA SMART (5) has been close up the three runs this campaign and presents today off a freshen. Draws for the run of the race and and is also a chance to break a long run of outs. YANKEE LOU (1) resumes and is sharp fresh. Gets the blinkers again and is worth a market watch. SELECTIONS: Backing #2 Mysterious Art.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 9 @ 5:10 PM

CHARGING FIRE (4) did not get all favours last start in his first run on the track and should be better for the experience, he has gone some handy races in the past and with senior hoop Karl Zechnar taking over the reins he could have the last say at nice each way odds in a very open field. CELERITATE REGEM (3) bounced straight back into form last start when finishing third at long odds, he has a better draw today and will be given every chance by Caitlin Jones. Include in all multiples. I'M OH SO PRETTY (6) can be hard to catch but was good last time out when finishing runner up as favourite and should appreciate the extra distance of today's assignment. Having Ryan Hurdle back in the saddle is a bonus and she should be thereabouts. TRIVAGO GIRL (12) has improved her form since arriving on the Port Lincoln circuit and gets the benefit of a 2kg claim this time. She is likely to get back in the running but should hit the line hard. Watch for her late. SELECTIONS: #4 Charging Fire each way.
