NOWRA: RACE 1 @ 1:27 PM

TIME BANDIT (8) raced on speed and just held them off as favourite on debut at Queanbeyan. Up in grade naturally but in a good stable and has to be considered a big chance. HOT SUNDAE (6) got the job done for an overdue win at Canberra last time and could go on with it now. DESI GIRL (4) is generally a consistent type and handles all conditions. Go well. LAS VEGAS GIRL (3) and FINAL SHOWDOWN (5) have some claims.
SELECTIONS: Time Bandit to win.

ARMIDALE: RACE 2 @ 1:46 PM

CONTARELLI (2) has found the maiden win elusive but it certainly hasn't been without trying, beaten under a length in his last two. Going well enough to take this out and is aided at the weights with the 2kg claimer piloting. The one to beat. MAGIC FLYER (7) comes in off a quick freshen up and makes his stable debut for Luke Morgan. Efforts down in Victoria suggest a forward showing against this lot and the booking of Aaron Bullock is a further push for his chances. EIGHTY EIGHT STARS (3) is yet to threaten in his two runs back. Worth noting the winkers come off first time for his third up assignment and the apprentice jumps on claiming 2kgs. Likely improver. GINGER MICK (5) was solid when resuming at Quirindi. Should improve second up and is in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Contarelli hard to beat.

SEYMOUR: RACE 2 @ 2:06 PM

HAARACAINE (2) looks the one to beat. He worked home well first up against better opposition at Sandown-Hillside, only beaten 3 lengths on that occasion. Strips fitter for that, Kah sticks from a good draw, he should be winning. ENXUTO (10) ran well on debut at Pakenham Synthetic, only beaten 2.25 lengths in fourth. Open to improvement and should be thereabouts. TIETAR (13) started favourite on debut at Geelong in what looks a handy maiden but struggled and was spelled. Drawn wide here but respect that market support and expect improvement. TURPIN'S TORMENT (4) next best.
SELECTIONS: Haaracaine to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 3 @ 2:11 PM

WINE NOT ROSES (7) was resuming from a spell of three months last start when a closing second over this course and distance. Had ended last campaign with back-to-back wins and looks to have returned in good order. Well drawn and can progress enough to win. BAIYKA (2) chased nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in second over 1000m at this track. Does her best work at this distance and can play a major role. Hard to knock GLAMOUR AND GLORY (3) who scored last start at this track to make it two wins in a row. Building an impressive record here. Must respect. MR VISTA (1) led throughout to win when resuming here and could progress off that.
SELECTIONS: Wine Not Roses to progress off a strong return and win.

HALIDON: RACE 4 @ 2:35 PM

LADY SIMONE (9) was tracking well before the latest in stronger grade and has had a 50-day freshen. Draws to advantage and is in the right yard. Suited. TAN TAT BEAU (4) resumes and put two wins together near the back end of the previous preparation. The rail should advantage and the recent Gawler trial was sharp. Goes fresh and is a player. ANJOPIN (1) resumes and also performs fresh. Has trialled well and will ride the speed. TICKETY BOOM (7) was back to his best winning the 58 at The Bridge. Has a handy gate and won't have to improve much to get into the finish.
SELECTIONS: Backing Lady Simone.

DONALD: RACE 4 @ 3:35 PM

AWOL (4) is third-up and ready to win for the premier yard. Has the blinkers applied again and John Allen stays aboard. Has more up his sleeve and this is winnable. KYOKUSHIN (6) has strong city form and just missed the placings here resuming for the new yard. Fitter now and will secure a soft run from an inside barrier. PENTEGRA (3) came from the back beaten 1.6L at Bendigo. Is hard to catch but a repeat of that effort would give him a chance.
SELECTIONS: Backing Awol to win.
