See The Rose blossoms in Prix Six Perfections
The Andre Fabre-trained See The Rose (2 f ex Xaarienne by Xaar) retained her unbeaten record in the Prix Six Perfections (Gr 3, 1400m) at Deauville on Saturday and became the 31st stakes winner for Haras de Colleville-based Kendargent (Kendor).
A winner of her two previous starts, the two-year-old filly stayed on strongly to beat Wedding Dance (Invincible Spirit) by three-quarters of a length with another neck back to the Coeursamba (The Wow Signal) in third.
Purchased by Blandford Bloodstock for €180,000 at the 2019 Arqana Deauville August Yearling Sale, the filly is out of the Listed-placed Xaarienne (Xaar), making her a sister to Listed winner Xaarino and Group 3-placed Mont Kiara.
Xaarienne is a half-sister to the dam of Group 3 winner King Malpic (King’s Best) and Listed scorer Dream Works (Wootton Bassett).
Further afield this is the same family as Group 2 winner Sahara Slew (Seattle Slew), Group 3 winner Sandbar (Oasis Dream) and Listed-winning duo Brasileira (Dubai Destination) and Bolleville (Camelot).
Kendargent stood at stud for a fee of €15,000 in 2020.
