Love Is You lands the Radley Stakes
Juddmonte Farms’ Kingman (Invincible Spirit) was provided his 28th stakes winner on Saturday when the Roger Charlton-trained Love Is You (2 f ex Fallen For You by Dansili) landed the Radley Stakes (Listed, 7f) at Newbury.
Last seen breaking her maiden on debut, the two-year-old filly took stretched her winning run to two when surging three and a half lengths clear of Gift List (Bated Breath) by three and a half lengths, while Little Rollright (Dutch Art) was another seven and a half lengths further back in third.
The two-year-old filly is out of 2012 Coronation Stakes (Gr 1, 1m) winner Fallen For You (Dansili) and she is also the dam Group 2 winner Glorious Journey (Dubawi).
Fallen For You herself is a daughter of Listed winner Fallen Star (Brief Truce), who is also the dam of fellow Listed winner Fallen Idol (Pivotal), while she is also the grandam of Group 3 winner Loving Things (Pivotal) and Listed scorer Light Up Our World (Zoffany).
Kingman is represented in Australia this season by his Group 2-winning son Calyx, who is standing at Coolmore Stud in the Hunter Valley for a fee of $17,600 (inc GST).
