First session gets underway at Keeneland on Monday morning
The first day of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale got underway in Lexington on Monday morning. Session One comprises 199 lots, and two late entries.
One of the last lots through the ring in Session ONe will be Lot 190, a filly by Violence (Medaglia d'Oro) out of winning Encosta De Lago (Fairy King) mare Taste Of Heaven, who is already the dam of Grade Three winner Heavenly Curlin (Curlin) and is out of Shantha's Choice (Canny Lad), making her a sister to Manhattan Rain and a half-sister to Redoute's Choice (Danehill).
