Bolt d’Oro, a multiple US G1 winner by Medaglia D’Oro, will shuttle to Australia this spring.

He will stand in Victoria at Spendthrift Australia and will offer an outcross for Australian breeders as he is free of Danehill and Danzig blood.

Bolt d’Oro opened his juvenile career with three victories including back-to-back G1 wins in the Del Mar Futurity and Frontrunner Stakes at Santa Anita.

In his first start at three he won Santa Anita’s G2 San Felipe Stakes before finishing runner-up to subsequent Triple Crown winner Justify in the G1 Santa Anita Derby.

A US$630,000 Saratoga Select yearling, Bolt d’Oro is out of the multiple stakes-producing mare Globe Trot (AP Indy) and is half brother to the multiple stakes winner Sonic Mule (Distorted Humor).

Globe Trot won three times up to a mile and is a daughter of the multiple G2 winner Trip (Lord At War) from the family of the multiple G1 winner Zensational.
