Magic Millions Appoint NSW Consultant

Magic Millions has announced the appointment of Dane Robinson as the company's NSW bloodstock consultant.

Robinson, who hails from a famous racing family, joins Magic Millions after three years as racing manager with Highclere Thoroughbreds in the UK.

He joined Harry Herbert's famous syndication operation after graduating from the world renowned Godolphin Flying Start program.

Robinson is a grandson of legendary horseman Kevin Robinson and son of successful NSW trainer Terry Robinson.

He commences in the important new position on Monday.

"I am both thrilled and humbled to be joining the Magic Millions team, and look forward to working with and learning under the guidance of Gerry Harvey and Katie Page, as well as Barry Bowditch, Clint Donovan and all of the team," Robinson said.

"Magic Millions has stamped itself as a leader in innovation and business excellence and I am looking forward to working with Australian breeders and vendors to continue achieving the best possible outcomes for their produce and, in turn, assist Magic Millions' continued progression as Australia's premier thoroughbred auction house."

Barry Bowditch, managing director of Magic Millions, said Robinson was a highly credentialed and passionate industry member who would complement the bloodstock department.

"Dane has spent a lifetime in the industry and will be an instrumental member of the team particularly in working with our clients across NSW," Bowditch said.

“Dane's appointment will strengthen our ties in NSW and drive this into the future."

The supplementary catalogue for the star studded 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale has been released.

Featuring 51 lots, the supplementary catalogue includes 20 race fillies and maiden mares, one stallion, seven stallion nominations and 20 broodmares.
