"The response from vendors in both Australia and New Zealand has been fantastic and with entries still open until next Friday, 9 August we’ll be looking to catalogue around 200 select two and three-year-olds in the sale," said Inglis Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy.

Hong Kong’s leading sire by winners, Encosta de Lago, and leading sire by prizemoney, Pins, are both represented with multiple entries in the Ready 2 Race Sale.

Additional leading sires in Asia with entries in the select Sydney auction include Exceed And Excel, High Chaparral, Shamardal, Fastnet Rock, More Than Ready, Flying Spur, Hussonet, O’Reilly, Darci Brahma, Choisir, Tale Of The Cat and Not A Single Doubt.

Other proven sires include Snitzel, Statue Of Liberty, Domesday, Street Cry, Written Tycoon, Al Maher, Bel Esprit, Charge Forward, Dane Shadow and Mossman.

Deceased Champion First Season Sire Northern Meteor and exciting young stallions Sebring, Wanted, All American, Nicconi, Manhattan Rain and I Am Invincible are set to be strongly represented in the catalogue.

“The stallion strength of the entries so far is tremendous and it is certainly pleasing to couple that up with the outstanding range of top vendors such as Lyndhurst Farm, Esker Lodge, Anzac Lodge and Woodridge Farm from New Zealand plus Widden Stud, Muskoka Farm, Hilton Thoroughbreds, Nolen Racing and many more from across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria,” added D’Arcy.

Highlight lots sure to demand plenty of attention amongst the current entries include siblings to four-time Hong Kong Champion sprinter Sacred Kingdom, Group 1 winners Norzita, Nechita, Ortensia and Hot Danish, plus Malaysian Horse of the Year Speed Baby.

The 2013 Inglis Sydney Ready 2 Race Sale will be conducted at Newmarket on Thursday, 3 October 2013, during the height of the Sydney Spring Carnival.
