Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Monday’s meeting at Benalla.

Force Awakens (Race 4) is challenging for favouritism at $3.60 having shortened the best part of a point early. He didn’t do a lot at his only run but was in the market and with the benefit of a spell may have improved.

Zedi Gold (Race 7) has been the best backed at $4, which is two-and-a-half points shorter than her opening price. She is racing well with two wins and two placings from her last four starts and the punters are looking for that run of form to continue.

Tycoon (Race 8) could be worth an each way ticket at $5 having almost halved her price in early trading. She resumed with a Wodonga win and the money push suggests she can go on with the job.
