Unbeaten Surpass Natural To Keep On Winning

3 minute read

The Leticia Dragon trained Surpass Natural has been most impressive in three starts to this point and appears well placed to win again on Sunday.

Due to contest the ninth event, Surpass Natural steps up to Class 3 company, but gets every chance at the weights.

An impressive winner on debut over 1000m, Surpass Natural made the jump to 1200m (on the turf) at this next start and while falling in, his performance was still very good.

Returning to the polytrack at his next outing, Surpass Natural simply gapped them, when leading throughout under John Powell.

Since kept fresh, Surpass Natural lines up off a 44 day break and he has trialled very well in the lead up.

Ridden by Powell, Surpass Natural sat off the speed with the Tim Fitzsimmons trained Petite Voix setting up a very fastly run trial.

Asked to find the line in the straight, Surpass Natural let down well to finish second behind the Stephen Gray trained Al Green.

Stopping the clock at 59.46, they certainly hummed along and it should give him the perfect platform for Sunday's affair.

Drawn a touch awkwardly, expect Surpass Natural to adopt his customary position on-speed.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings he appears very well placed with more improvement expected, he should prove very hard to beat.

When combined with the Dragon stable, Powell is striking at 26% and expect that trend to continue on Sunday.

The Cliff Brown trained Sir Isaac returned in great order last start and looms as a major threat with Kok aboard.

An eye catcher late behind Nova Vocal, Sir Isaac has won 2/5 second up and he has placed in 6/10 attempts at this track.

The inside draw is  a bit tricky, but with clear air, he should prove very hard to hold out.

The Mark Walker trained Barbeque failed to fire a shot first up, however he is clearly better than that and remains under strong notice.

On best form he appears well placed and with the in-form Woodworth sticking aboard, he remains under strong notice.

Of the rest the Lee Freedman trained Made In Russia appears the next in line.

Good luck and happy punting.
