Race 1: Pak Tin Handicap (1st Section)

#1 Monkey Jewellery can atone for his poor first-up effort with a win here. He tracked three-wide last time out close to the speed which saw him promptly drop out. He's better than that. #4 Big Luck Champ grabbed third on debut. He can figure again with slight improvement. #7 Alloy King is lightly raced but has shown glimpses of ability. He's drawn gate one, so, there is a small chance they roll forward to try and pinch this. #2 Dublin Star is always around the mark and should be again.

Race 2: So Uk Handicap (1st Section)

#4 Stunning Impact has ability and with his debut season behind him, he just now, might ready to finally go on with it with added experience under his belt. He trialled well at Conghua and chances are from the inside draw he rolls forward to lead. #1 Beluga is a talent on the rise but just couldn't match paces first-up over this course and distance. Chances are he'll have improved with that run under his belt and it wouldn't surprise to see him go on with it. #3 Solar Power surprised first-up to finish a close-up second. He should be able to get a soft run close to speed which should, give him every chance. #6 Sam's Love is solid and shouldn't be too far away.

Race 3: Pak Tin Handicap (2nd Section)

#6 Winning Strikes showed improvement last term and since then, caught the eye when crossing the line first in a recent barrier trial. He's drawn to get the right run and just might, take plenty of reeling in. #5 Valiant Elegance has had the benefit of that first-up run. He's regularly well found in the market which suggests there is an opinion of him and once again he gets a strong booking of riders with French ace Antoine Hamelin taking the mount. Expect an improved effort from #3 Fortune Master who appears to be on an upward trajectory. The draw suits and he does hail from the in-form Francis Lui barn. #4 Inno Legend is lightly raced and could jump out of the ground at any moment with champion jockey Zac Purton up.

Race 4: Un Chau Handicap

#10 Speedy Dragon hasn't won since early 2019 as a 48-rater in Class 4 and now, finds himself on a mark of 33 in Class 5. He's more than up to bagging another win and is capable of doing so in this grade. The booking of Alfred Chan suggests that #2 Laos Enlightenment might try and pinch this from the front. The wide gate hurts his chances but Chan's seven pound claim should come in handy over the closing stages. #5 Shinealot is still winless after 18 starts. He's gone close a number of times but still, can't quite get off the mark. He gets another chance here for trainer Paul O'Sullivan who has strong book of entries for Sunday's 10-race fixture. #7 Nunchuks has been well found in the market of late and from the good gate, he gets a great chance to display his best.

Race 5: So Uk Handicap (2nd Section)

#5 Maldives caught the eye in a recent barrier trial at Happy Valley and off that, looks set to return this season with a bang. Gate two suits as does the booking of Zac Purton which signals intent. #8 Apex Top is better than his first-up failure suggests and with even luck he is capable of atoning for that run here, especially after finishing alongside Maldives in that recent trial at the city circuit. These two rate strongly. #7 The Drive ran well first-up and should improve with that performance under his belt. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him take another step forward here. #1 Golden Four gets a handy 10 pound claim from apprentice Jerry Chau and he deserves respect off the back of his last-start close-up second.

Race 6: Tai Hang Tung Handicap

#3 Natural Storm should relish stepping up in trip to 1800m, a distance which he has won over. He's drawn to get the right run and he should prove difficult to reel on from a forward position. #8 Exaltation gets the services of Zac Purton for the first time. He's winless, but is one who has shown significant improvement over further. #1 Bullish Glory notched back-to-back wins last term. He'll need luck from the rear of the field but is capable of rattling into the placings. #2 Dynamic Eagle is next best.

Race 7: Lai Kok Handicap (2nd Section)

#4 Sunset Watch should benefit from a fast-pace and off his first-up runner-up effort, he shapes as the one to beat, especially with Zac Purton taking over from the suspended Karis Teetan. #10 Ka Ying Master is fit with two runs under his belt and as a natural front-runner, he should roll forward and take up the running from gate four. He could prove tough to reel in, especially as he is having his third run back since throat surgery. He's worth supporting on a win and place line to pinch this. #6 Czarson is looking to end a streak of two close-up runner-up efforts on the dirt. He switches to the turf here which is a slight question mark but on his side is the favourable draw and probable fast pace. #3 Smart Leader is better than his last-start struggles suggest. He deserves respect.

Race 8: Lai Kok Handicap (1st Section)

#1 Healthy Happy was impressive through the line in a recent trial, finishing second to Buddies on the Sha Tin dirt. He appears forward enough to figure on debut and from the inside draw, he should get every chance to do so. His Australian form was solid and he rates strongly. #9 Compassion Spirit gets the services of Zac Purton now. He's still got plenty of ratings points in hand and it wouldn't surprise to see him go on with it in this contest. #11 Classic Posh is looking to snap a streak of two runner-up efforts. He'll be flashing home late from the tail of the field. #2 Super Dobbin has acclimatised well to hong Kong as a South African G3 winner. He appears to be taking the right steps forward.

Race 9: Nam Shan Handicap

#1 Star Of Yuen Long has the class to get over the line here and should be doing so. Zac Purton retains the ride which suits because he does appear destined for bigger and better things. #3 Simple Elegant is the likely leader. He'll look the winner for a long way, especially form gate one which should allow him to use next to no petrol early to find the front. He's worth taking a chance on here. #4 Win Win returned in excellent order last time out, narrowly missing by half a length. He can box on for prize money. #9 Victory Power is consistent and admittedly, is unlucky not to have won more than one race, as he has 15 other top three efforts to his name. Must respect.

Race 10: Chak On Handicap

#9 Super Star returns from a lengthy stint on the sidelines. He's since had throat surgery and following this, caught the eye in a recent a barrier trial on the dirt when lengthening from the rear to cross the line first. His best is up to this and he could fire first-up. #6 Water Diviner found himself trapped too far back with too much work to do last start. He's won off this figure before and with a forward ride from gate three, he can make his presence felt. #4 Lucky Express couldn't have been more impressive last start. He's found his feet now and it wouldn't shock to see him go on with it again. #1 Shining Ace should relish the drop to Class 2. He's consistent and deserves respect.
