Race 1: Tsim Mei Fung Handicap

#1 Demons Rock steps back down to Class 5, where he is a one-time winner, over this course and distance. He's drawn to get the right run from gate two and is aided by Jerry Chau's 10-pound claim. #2 Viva Council always does well at the midweek dirt fixtures. He'll roll forward and make his own luck for Dylan Mo and Peter Ho. #5 Tailor Made gets the key booking of champion jockey Zac Purton. He bears close watching, especially from an inside gate. #4 Adonis is next best. He's previously performed well on the dirt and this contest shouldn't be an exception.

Race 2: Wa Mei Shan Handicap

#9 Turf Brilliant is better than his record suggests and with one season under his belt now, he appears to have made the necessary steps forward to finally go on with it. This contests suits. #1 Go Ballistic gets a handy 10-pound claim from Jerry Chau and now, back in Class 5, slots in very well at the weights. #4 Smart Thinker has placed in both of his runs this term. It's only a matter of time before he finally goes on with it. #12 The Joy of Giving is next best.

Race 3 Shek Uk Shan Handicap

#10 Deal Maker runs well fresh and is expected to do the same again. He looks to have trained on at Conghua and with no weight on his back, he can make the most of this opportunity. #5 Clear Choice closed well for a close-up second last start. He gets a more favourable gate this time and he should be in the mix as usual. #4 Elite Patch can reverse his form following a poor run on the turf last time out. He's much better on the dirt and he should acquit himself accordingly. #2 Right Choice is next best. He has the class edge.

Race 4: Tin Ha Shan Handicap (1st Section)

#4 Gold Comet has ability and he's done well in his trials leading up to his first-up run. He's worth taking a chance on here following a strong showing in his latest workout. #11 Star Superior is consistent and he is a three-time course and distance winner. He slots in light with next to no weight on his back this is a suitable contest. #12 Wayfoong Charmer rarely runs a bad race. He can test these with the right run close to the speed. #3 Coby Oppa can't be dismissed.

Race 5: Tin Ha Shan Handicap (2nd Section)

#9 Winning Strikes trialled well on the dirt prior to his first-up struggles and now, makes his race day debut on the surface. He's worth taking a chance on here as his trial at Conghua prior was eye-catching. #6 Resolute is looking for back-to-back wins. He remains in Class 4 following that win which suits and he is capable of scoring again here. #5 Super Alliances is consistent and is a winner over the course and distance previously. He's always in the mix and is expected to be once again. #2 Hercules won well two starts ago on the grass and now, prepares for a return to the dirt. He can figure.

Race 6: Tiu Yue Yung Handicap

#3 Skyey Supreme gets a handy 10 pounds off thanks to Jerry Chau's apprentice claim and from the inside gate, he should be able to roll forward and find the front with ease. #2 Party Everyday is a two-time course and distance winner. He's turned in two solid performances this campaign to finish second, though, his get-back style of racing can be slightly costly. #11 Double Take slots in light and does get a good draw. Vincent Ho's booking signals intent. #6 Unite Spirit is next best.

Race 7: Pyramid Hill Handicap

#4 Czarson has been knocking on the door and is unlucky not to already be a winner. He once again, finds a suitable contest and a return to the dirt, where he is a two-time runner-up, is a favourable move. #1 Silver Fig is a class act who is a two-time course and distance winner in this grade. He turned in an excellent performance second-up and it wouldn't shock to see him go one better this time. #9 Blotting Paper has an awkward gate to content with but does boast an impressive last-start win. #6 Lucky Patch caught the eye at the trials and he bears close watching on debut.

Race 8: Hebe Hill Handicap

#3 Kings Shield loves the course and distance with his last run over it returning a comfortable make-all win. Expect he tries similar again here and the booking of Zac Purton bodes well for this as the Australian ace is 1/1 aboard the Scat Daddy gelding. #1 Elusive State is a dirt specialist. He won second-up over this course and distance and with the soft gate, he should get every chance to bounce back to form. #6 Righteous Doctrine is consistent and does hold two wins on the dirt. #8 Glorious Artist is another who loves the surface. He's next best if he can offset the awkward gate.
