A veterinary examination on Saturday, 01 June 2019 revealed that WHISTLING WIN (T Rehaizat) had returned lame off (right) fore and off (right) hind. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

A veterinary examination on Friday, 31 May 2019 revealed that ORIENT EXPRESS (V Duric) returned as a roarer. The Veterinary Surgeon also reported that the gelding had undergone surgery for this condition. Trainer J Saimee advised the gelding had pulled up well and will continue with its preparation.
