A veterinary examination on Sunday 17 January 2021, revealed BLACK QUAIL (App K Hakim) had returned lame near (left) hind.. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

A veterinary examination on Sunday 17 January 2021, revealed MR MALEK (App R Iskander) had returned lame near (left) fore. It will be required to pass a 1000m gallop trial and a veterinary examination prior to being declared to race again.

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Saturday, 16 January 2021, Jockey N Zyrul, the rider of BEAUTY DIVA, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 400m, he did permit his mount to shift outwards, whilst riding it along, when insufficiently clear of DRAGON RYKER (O Chavez), which checked and lost running to which it was entitled. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and carelessness. Jockey Zyrul was suspended from riding in races with effect from Sunday, 17 January 2021 to Saturday, 30 January 2021 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
Following the completion of the Race Meeting on Saturday, 16 January 2021, after considering an application from Jockey N Zyrul, the rider of BEAUTY DIVA, to amend his suspension dates, the Stewards acceded to his request and amended the dates accordingly.
As such, Jockey Zyrul was suspended from riding in races with effect from Sunday, 24 January 2021 to Sunday, 07 February 2021 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.
