RACE 1

1st Pick: CHARMING DIAMOND (1) Returns to Class 5 where he was last victorious back in April. Better suited to the turf and can be dangerous here.
2nd Pick: DEN OF THIEVES (3) Gets the services of Manoel Nunes and also the addition of blinkers. Has trialled nicely in preparation for this. Watch any betting moves.
3rd Pick: HIGH WATER (2) Drawn in the carpark but can muster good speed from there and gets the claim of Jerlyn Seow Poh Hui which brings him into calculations.
4th Pick: PERFECT (10) Back to Class 5 where he was a winner back in March with a surprise victory that day. From a strong stable and looks well placed.

RACE 2

1st Pick: NORTHERN STAR (2) Still very much learning what it's all about but recent trial suggests if he is on song, he's the one to beat here.
2nd Pick: SUPER INCREDIBLE (5) Tough watch for those on last start, flew home late despite heading off the fence to run around them in the straight, but then deciding to lay in at the 300m. Major threat if he can put it all together.
3rd Pick: BINGO MASTER (4) Seemed to be making good ground late in the race last start. Showed significant improvement from the start before so if he has improved again this weekend, it most definitely looks a horse to consider.
4th Pick: DRAGON TYCOON (3) Last start showed he will be winning a maiden very soon. Was just paddling a little late in the race but had to do some work early. Top 4 hope for sure.

RACE 3

1st Pick: HAPPY MOMENT (1) On the quick back-up and Oscar Chavez jumps back in the saddle. Has drawn the inside gate and looking for his fourth win in as many starts.
2nd Pick: WATER ROCKET (2) Will have to be positive from a wide barrier but does his best racing in this grade and over this course. Can surprise.
3rd Pick: OUR PINNACLE (5) Has been racing around this distance and grade for some time and hasn't been too far away from the winners. Needs luck from the barrier.
4th Pick: BIG TIGER (10) Won his maiden in nice style and jumps up in grade here. Gets in on a nice light weight and can figure in the multiples.

RACE 4

1st Pick: FOOTSTEPSONTHECAR (9) Has been placed last two starts over this distance and looks to have found an ideal race to go one better here. Should be in the forward half of the field and looks a big threat.
2nd Pick: PISCA PISCA (7) Manoel Nunes jumps back on and the distance shouldn't worry her coming from a stable that prides themselves on producing stayers.
3rd Pick: SUNDAY (4) Winner of his last two and drops one kilo from that last victory. Has drawn out in 18 and will need some luck from the jump.
4th Pick: LAKSANA (8) Ran a strong second last start over the 1800m and it looks like this distance won't be a problem. Drawn awkwardly but can figure.

RACE 5

1st Pick: JUST BECAUSE (8) Impressive winner on debut last start. Danny Beasley stays on, and most find it hard jumping in grade and winning again, but he can prove that wrong in this field.
2nd Pick: SESON (11) Was well supported when winning last start in Class 5 and ran good time in that event. He drops 7kgs and must be respected.
3rd Pick: KING ARTHUR (6) Suited by the switch back to the Polytrack and gets our leading jockey for the leading trainer. Watch betting.
4th Pick: RENZO (7) Lightly-raced galloper who was strong in winning last start with the blinkers applied. Drawn well and should get a comfortable run and look a threat turning for home.

RACE 6

1st Pick: LIM'S HOPEFULLY (1) Coming out of an okay trial, wasn't asked for much in final stages. Respect yard and owners, great strike rate of late.
2nd Pick: SILENT FORCE (4) Despite multiple runs at distance for only one win, this son of Oasis Dream has notched up a few placings. For that reason, as well as a lot of these horses looking for more ground, he looks a chance.
3rd Pick: BEAT THE LIGHT (5) Finished in behind Silent Force recently. Has been through a few yards but has been far from disgraced his last two starts.
4th Pick: CIZEN LUCKY (13) Despite carrying slightly more weight this start, last run in behind Kimitonara was a solid performance worthy of respect. Draws the paint, honest Top 4 hope.

RACE 7

1st Pick: WAWASAN (3) Looks to be the horse that will appreciate the drop to five furlongs the most. Never missed a placing in four attempts and has already won at the distance.
2nd Pick: BIZAR WINS (2) Last-start winner and will be up on speed making his own luck. Toughed it out to hold off challengers, the victory definitely had some merit.
3rd Pick: LOVING BABE (4) Probably the consistency horse of the field. Has had a couple great runs of late with no success, looks a major player here.
4th Pick: FLAK JACKET (1) Despite getting on now, he has put in some brave runs recently and can't be left out of the numbers.

RACE 8

1st Pick: RED OCEAN (8) Progressive horse who beat his rivals out of sight last time out. Rising in class and will find this harder, but gives every indication he can shine again.
2nd Pick: SPECIAL OPS (5) Super impressive at his last win in Class 3, 1400m two weeks ago. Tackles similar contest and will be again among the main contenders, especially with the two-kilo claim from leading apprentice jockey Hakim Kamaruddin for a rare pairing with Jason Ong.
3rd Pick: PENNYWISE (3) Running well without winning. Long time between drinks - almost two years since he won the Group 3 Colonial Chief Stakes (1600m). Clearly a Polytracker, but has run creditably at some of his turf races. Include in calculations.
4th Pick: GOLDEN FLAME (4) Runner-up to Special Ops in that last race on Singapore Gold Cup day. Can mix his form but a true run race can see him poke his head in this.

RACE 9

1st Pick: STRONG N SMART (1) Scored a pulsating win last time out. Looked a forlorn hope at the top of the straight when last and behind a wall of horses, but quickened up when produced for his run. Can strike again.
2nd Pick: ALL WE KNOW (4) Beaten fair and square by a superior horse in Red Ocean last start. Commands respect again.
3rd Pick: STREET CRY SUCCESS (2) Always thereabouts, but outermost alley will make things tough. Should still make his presence felt when the whips are cracking.
4th Pick: BOOMBA (3) Disappointing at his 3YO races. Gave some signs of improvement on the training tracks. Manoel Nunes booked. Outside chance.

RACE 10

1st Pick: KHARISMA (2) Seldom runs a bad race. Showed his big heart at his last-start narrow win. Reverts to Polytrack which he mastered early doors at the first five of his nine wins. Drawn awkwardly, but if he can get cover in transit, he will take some beating in the straight.
2nd Pick: GOLD STAR (6) Luckless at his last start when he couldn't get a run to still finish 2.5L off Kharisma. Won't surprise if he makes amends here.
3rd Pick: STARLIGHT (10) Group 2 Singapore 3YO Classic winner taking a leap in class in open company. On paper, he faces a tough ask at level weights but he's on the way up and won't be disgraced. Low draw is a big help.
4th Pick: CELAVI (11) A shade disappointing at her racing comeback. Will strip a lot fitter this time, but has again been handed a wide barrier, which doesn't help her. May have to take a sit off the pace. Still a place chance on class.

RACE 11

1st Pick: MOONGATE STAR (6) Closing second to Siam Warrior at his last start. Loves the Polytrack and should threaten late.
2nd Pick: REIGNITE (12) Step-up in class, but they will roll along, and he may well be the fresh horse on the scene from his smothered run from barrier one. Form hard to fault. Look to him sailing home late.
3rd Pick: HEARTENING FLYER (2) Resuming. Classy sort who can take this when at his peak. May need the run but a place is not beyond him.
4th Pick: IRONCHAMP (4) From his handy barrier, he will go forward but may get some challengers upfront. Take on trust, but he may still hang on for a place.
