Houtzen to gallop on the Rowley Mile tomorrow morning

Australian sprinter Houtzen, who is entered in both the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes on 18th June and the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes on 22nd June, will continue her Royal Ascot preparations when she gallops at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse at 9.00am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Houtzen  will be ridden by Jamie Spencer and will work over four furlongs in the company of her stable companion, Acqume.
 
Trained on the Gold Coast in Queensland by Toby Edmonds, Houtzen won in Group 3 company in both 2017 and 2018 as well as losing out by a short head in a Group 2 in Melbourne last September. She has been stabled in Newmarket since late March.
