Several 3yo races will provide Kentucky points for both the Derby and the Oaks this weekend.

At the Fairgrounds there's the Rachel Alexandra Gr 2 over 1700m for the 3yo fillies who are hoping to win a trip north with British Idiom on 8/5, Finite on 2/1 and Tempers Rising on 6/1.

The boys go round in two parts of the Risen Star over 1800m.  There's 11 in the first part with Enforceable 7/2, Silver State 4/1 and we like Moon Over Miami 10/1.  In the second part 12 starters compete with Anneau d'Or on 9/5 and Liam's Lucky Charm 9/2 the two most favoured in the Morning Line and the rest of the field is very open.

At Golden Gate Fields there's the El Camino Real Derby for the 3yo boys over 1800m and Bob Baffert is trying to get the record for the number of winners here with Azul Coast the chosen vehicle – he's on 2/1.  Indian Peak is 7/2 and Sacred Rider 9/2.
