Good win for Conor McNamara

3 minute read

He was riding the Willie Mullins trained Jazzaway who proved the best of the Mullins runners.

They defeated Western Victory by a head in the Galway Guiness Handicap Hurdle, and Littorale Ci added another 3rd place to the one he got on Monday.  Line Out 40/1 was fourth.

It's back to the flat on Saturday and there are two races called the Galway Shopping Centre Handicap but we are interested in the second of these over 2400m on ground described as yielding.

Aidan O'Brien hasn't been that prominent so far but today he sends Iowa and Wayne Lordon to ride him and he's a serious stayer.  Comes into this on 6/1.  Bolivar is 7/1, In From The Cold who ran 4th on Tuesday in the mile so is stepping up in trip and is on 8/1 and there are a number of horses around this mark so the pin landed on Comorra 9/1 for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane.
