We said in the preview that all Shishkin had to do to win the Clarence House was stay upright.

There was a bit of a challenge from Energumene but since the Ascot Gr 1 only had four runners this can be best described as a nice bit of track work for Shishkin.

The Mares Hurdle went to Molly Olly Wishes from My Sister Sarah.  Not sure what happened to Western Victory as she finished at the wrong end of the field and although not the last home looks as if she may have sustained an injury.
