There are 8 horses entered in this prestigious G1 over 2000m.

The focus is on the return of Enable to the track and the challenge from Irish raider Magical.

Enable, who will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, is on 8/11 and Magical, with Ryan Moore on board is on 7/2. 

Since fillies don't have the best of records in the race, an each/way on Regal Reality, 6/1, with Kerrin McEvoy riding the Sir Michael Stoute runner.

Earlier there's the Sprit Stakes over 1000m with Sergei Prokofiev on 11/4,  Garrus on 4/1 and we like Kurioso 12/1 for Henry Candy and Harry Bentley.

Sad to see the passing of the very colourful John McCririck.  He was a great fan of the Japan Cup and until recently was a familiar face at the November feature.  In Japan he had no need to "perform" and was a delightful and charming companion with a great knowledge of Japanese racing among his many talents.  He will be missed.
