One of our favourite races especially for its name – Prix Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard Jacques Le Marois.

It's G1 over the mile for 3y+ but no geldings (isn't it about time this restriction was removed?) and there are 8 horses in the contest with 3yo filly Watch Me on 7/4 for Francis Graffard and P-C Boudot.  She won the Coronation Stakes at Ascot and gets a weight advantage here.  Romanised 3/1 is next in the market but we prefer Study of Man on 4/1.

Earlier there's the Prix Minerve for 3yo fillies over 2500m and it looks like being the raider Star Terms (Hannon-Doyle) versus the local Wonderment (Nicholas Clement –Stephan Pasquier) on 3/1 for a 7 horse races.
