The second meeting of the Carnival takes place this Thursday.

The 2000 Guineas trial is over 1600m and has a field of 16.  Godolphin's Saeed bin Suroor saddles the unbeaten First View on 5/2 with Soumillon riding and Laser Show 6/4 and Kevin Stott.  Sateesh Seemar runs Commanding on 5/1 with Richard Mullen riding.

The Singspiel is a turf G2 over 1800m and has 6 runners headed by the wonderful Benbatl.  He's 2/5 with stablemate Dream Castle on 11/4.

The first round of the Al Maktoum Challenge is over 1600m and sees the Seemar/Mullen North America on 5/4 (he won this last year).  Muntazah trained by Doug Watson is on 5/2 (he holds the track record) and stablemate Kimbear is coming back from injury and is on 6/1.
