The soft going has caused a number of horses to be withdrawn from today's card but there still should be some good racing.

The Trial Juvenile Hurdle Gr 2 is back down to 6 runners and there doesn't seem much between Monte Cristo, a former French runner having his second UK race and Rowland Ward who won recently at Kempton showing he suffered no long term effects from his fall in his debut race.

The Cotswolds Chase Gr 2 also has only 6 runners with Santini on 9/4 ahead of Bristol De Mai on 2/1 with our preference going to the latter.

The Novice Hurdle Gr 2 has at least 8 runneres with King Roland on 11/4, Harry Senior 9/2 and we like Protektorat for the Skeltons on 5/1.

The Cleeve Hurdle has actually got 11 runners and Paisley Park looks to be a good thing here but 4/6 is not tempting.  If The Cap Fits is 3/1 and we are going wide for an e/w on L'ami Serge 10/1.
