The HKJC has extended the restrictions on people eligible to attend race meetings at present.

They have been forced to cancel the Interport series and jockeys and trainers are not able to go to Conghua as there is a 2 weeks quarantine on anyone coming into HK from China.  They say horses are able to be moved as they are "freight" but what about the drivers?

However racing continues and there are two Class 2 races at Sha Tin this Saturday.  In the first of these, Race 7 over 1600m, Vincent Ho who has just achieved his 300 winner mark will ride the exciting Preciousship.  1.6 is about right.  Fast Most Furious is on 7.6, Not Usual Talent 8.6 and our roughie here is Cordyceps on 10.0.

Race 9 is over 1200m and Duke Wai is racing well for Paul O'Sullivan.  He will have Karis Teetan in the irons and they are on 2.9.  Computer Patch has looked interesting and he's on 4.6 with Beauty Applause 6.7.  We are also adding Richard Gibson's Gold Chest on 10.0 with Matthew Poon riding.
