Without public and on a heavy track this edition of the "Latino" produced a home quinella.
Tetaze, by Equal Stripes, won for the team of trainer Angel Suarez and jockey Gustavo Calvente. Second home was Mirañique trained by Maria Cristina Muñoz and ridden by Francisco Fernandez with third going to the Brazilian runner Pimper's Paradise.
Another Brazilian horse Nao Da Mais was in the lead for most of the race until the last turn when he headed off to the right carting another runner with him and leaving a big gap for the top finishers.
Next year's Latino will be held at Monterrico, Peru on Sunday 14 March 2021.
