Tiz The Law lays down the law in the Belmont

Well we have a start in the triple crown without any roses or public but nevertheless an exciting win for Tiz The Law.

He really was never challenged as he raced away in the straight to win by 3 ¾ lengths from Dr Post with Max Player third.  Pneumatic was fourth and Tap It To Win fifth.

The Woody Stephens was won by No Parole with the second 3 ½ lengths away in a 5 horse race.

Decorate Invader showed his class in the Pennine Ridge winning by 4 ¾ lengths from Proven Strategies.  This was a good reward for Christophe Clement who had suffered the loss of several of his horses when the float transporting the was in a bad accident.

Bafffert's Gamine won the Acorn in race record time from Pleasant Orb 40/1.  She will now be heading towards the Oaks possibly via Saratoga.

An Aussie-bred winner in the Jaipur when Animal Kingdom's daughter Oleksandra beat the boys.  Kanthaka was a neck away second and Texas Wedge third.  The win gives Oleksandra an entry to the Breeder's Cup Turf Sprint and after that it may be off to her next career.

At Churchill Downs Factor This won his third consecutive stakes win in the Wise Dan.  English Bee was second and Parlor third.
