The German 1000 Guineas at Dusseldorf on Sunday was Yasmin Almenrader saddle her first Classic winner.

Her Lanade in the hands of Adrie de Vries won by 1 ¼ lengths from No Limit Credit with the Mark Johnston raider Rose of Kildare third, thus denying the English trainer a third win in the race.
