Tuesday sees the running of the Vintage, the Lennox and the Cup.

The track is supposed to be Good but might be on the softish side of good with good fields for the Group Races.

The first of these is the G2 Veuve Cliquot Vintage Stakes for the 2yo over 1400m.  The O'Brien (Aidan) Battleground comes with recommendations and of course will have Ryan Moore in the saddle.  5/4.  Devious Company is on 7/2, Youth Spirit 11/2 and our roughie here (there are 10 runners) is Gorytus for Richared Fahey and Tom Marquand.  He won on debut at York and could be value.

The Lennox is over 1400m for 3y+ with 13 to run.  Godolphin's Space Blues is on top here on 9/4 (Appleby-Buick) with Safe Voyage 5/1 and quite open for the rest of the field.  We are going to give Pierre Lapin another chance on 8/1 and Marie's Diamond has been doing a lot of racing and we don't think Mark Johnston would have put her in this if she wasn't showing that she was up to the challenge.

The Cup is a beauty – can Stradivarius win for the 4th time or will the new kid on the block – Santiago – be able to make the most of his weight advantage to challenge?  We're sticking with Stradivarius as his last win was ultra impressive and he looked to have plenty in the tank.  Nayef Road who was second to Stradivarius at Ascot could go in to the mutliples as he's on 14/1.
