There are 5 Group races on Sunday's card.

Starting off with the Prix du Petit Couvert G3 over 1000m with 8 declared.  Wooded is on top here on 3.00 with Tour de Paris on 4.50 but we love Air de Valse – she's all heart -  and will give her the nod on 7.00.

The Grand Prix de Paris is G1 for 3yo colts and fillies over 2400m.  On paper it looks like a battle between Port Guillaume and Serpentine, with their respective home tipsters putting their horse on top.  English King was scratched from Doncaster to come here and is on 6.00 with Mogul on 8.00.

This and the Vermeille are trials for the Arc itself with the Vermeille G1 for the 3yo fillies.  Raabihah is 3.00 on top for Rouget-Demuro.  Dermot Weld trains the Aga Khan's Tarnawa and she's on 4.00 while his other runner with Royer-Dupre Valia is on 9.00 and Mosse in the irons.  Irish raider Even So is on 6.50 for Ger Lyons and Gary Carroll.

The Prix Foy for the older horses also over 2400 and has 6 runners.  The centre of attention here is Stradivarius who is on 11/10 in the UK.  Anthony van Dyke is on 5/2 in the UK and Way To Paris 9/2 but we would put them the other way round.

The Prix du Pin is G3 over 1400m with 11 to run.  Earthlight is on 5/4 with Pretreville who won over this trip at his last outing on 5/1 and our old friend Tropbeau on 8/1.
