Ratification, both for foreign and local runners, shall be on October 18th. During the course of the upcoming days, the names of the mares entered for running the second race sponsored by Longines and OSAF shall be disclosed.. ACTIVITIES WITH PRESS/MEDIA: OSAF calls on the domestic and regional media to attend the racemeeting of Longines GP Latinoamericano, and we invite them to participate in the Press Conference to take place on Saturday 23rd of October at 19:00 (time to be confirmed) in the Official Tribune of Hipódromo Nacional de Maroñas. IMPORTANT! HEALTHREQUIREMENTSFORENTERINGURUGUAY
According to the health dispositions in place - given the COVID pandemic - established by the Uruguayan authority, to apply to all the delegations who travel with the runners, and all those who wish to attend the race meeting of LGPL, are the following:
l Have the 2 doses of the Covid 19 vaccine - or one-dose vaccine - (full vaccination: vaccinaation certificate) and present negative PCR test carried out within the 72 hours prior to arrival in Uruguay;
or
l Present a negative PCR test and undergo a 10 day quarantine upon arrival to Uruguay.
IMPORTANT! HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING HIPÓDROMO DE MAROÑAS:
In compliance with the existing protocols for the admission of any person to enter Maroñas racecourse, it will be mandatory to count with full vaccination for Covid 19, showing vaccination certificate and negative PCD test carried out within 72 hours prior to their arrival to Uruguay. This measure applies both for the delegations who may travel ahead (trainers, veterinarians, jockeys, staff) as for the delegations who travel to attend the race meeting.
