She was by Deep Impact out of a sister of 2016 Arc winner Found.

After her glittering 3yo campaign which included winning the English, Irish and Yorkshire Oaks she was expected to have a star-spangled career as a 4yo and one of Coolmore's most exciting runners.

We forget horses are really delicate creatures, despite their size and apparent strength, and after lunch recently something happened in her stall – the vet thinks she may have done the splits – which seriously damaged her pelvis and sadly the injury could not be cured.

She was "engaged" to St Mark's Basilica, who has recently retired to stud.
