Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace (Ciaron speaking)
"Great for Darren Dance and for a lot of the owners. She's a very valuable filly being by Frankel and out of a good family.
"Great ride by Jye. I've given him a hard time about this horse. He showed a lot of initiative. When she jumped well he gets back and he showed the initiative to go forward and put her in the race.
"It is sort of how the track has been racing a little bit and it was a super effort. Great job by the team.
"Brazen Song was probably going to go forward and take the sit. You don't want to be too far off especially on a day like this when they've got a tailwind down the straight. Full credit to Jye.
"I thought his last ride was pretty spot on and that one was pretty nice as well."
Winning Jockey: Jye McNeil
"Drawing an inside barrier she began a little bit slow but with the track playing how it was I was a bit more positive on her than usual. Ater doing so she really put herself into the race.
"I landed a bit closer than I anticipated pre-race. It was beneficial because she put herself in position and lifted herself off the canvas to get the win today.
"As a three-year-old filly it was towards the end of her prep that she did get out to that Oaks distance but the more I have to do with her this preparation, I think we may be able to step her out in trip again with a little more maturity but we'll have to wait to see how this prep unfolds.
"She's giving me the feel that she could get over more ground now."
