Aquis Farm has decided to withdraw the dual G1-placed stallion from breeding duties at its Victorian stud due to a lack of support from breeders.

He will return to training to be prepared for the autumn carnival.

Aquis chief executive Shane McGrath said Siege Of Quebec had been sent to Queensland to prepare for his comeback.

Formerly trained by Gai Waterhouse and Afdrian Bott, Siege Of Quebec was one of two foundation sires at Aquis Farm's Victorian venture alongside fellow first season stallion Lean Mean Machine.

He covered few mares in his first three weeks of the season prompting swift action from Aquis Farm.
