RANDWICK PARLAY

RACE 5 (2) CLASSIQUE LEGEND: Few if any horses in Australia have as much untapped talent as this exciting 4YO. He has got better with every race in his short five start career, underlined by his terrific first-up second on a slow track in The Shorts over 1100m at this course two weeks ago when he proved he was up to the top grade splitting the crack pair Pierata and Redzel in a driving finish. It was obvious he was going to take a lot of improvement from that outing and his tactical speed gives him an edge on his rivals in this small field.

RACE 8 (12) BRIMHAM ROCKS: Classy import was narrowly beaten in this race as favourite 12 months ago before going on to strong Group placings against quality staying opposition at the Melbourne carnival. Found his winning form again when third up over 2000m at Caulfield on September 21 and suggest that form will hold up well against an even lot of stayers who have contested mediocre lead up races in Sydney. Well weighted from an ideal draw and the big bonus is he gets Kerrin McEvoy, arguably the best rider of stayers in Australia.

RACE 9 (4) BEAU IDEAL: Imported sprinter has been finding his legs in two local starts and should prove hard to beat under these conditions when rated on his form in Group and Listed races in France. Improved off his first-up effort on a wet track when a closing fourth over 1100m at Rosehill on September 14 when he was forced to finish off on the slower inside section over the last 200m and his scope for improvement on a good surface makes him a sound each-way gamble at value odds.
