Trainer Kris Lees has mapped out plans for his crack sprinters Graff and Le Romain.

Graff will trial at Newcastle on Wednesday en route to a start the inaugural $1 million The Hunter (1300m) on his home track at Broadmeadow on November 16.

Lees intends putting a cross over nose band on the four-year-old, who has been freshened since he finished fourth in the G2 Premiere Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on October 5.

Triple G1 winner Le Romain won a 1000m Wyong trial last week and will line up next Saturday in the $1 million Redzel Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill.

"He trialled really well and there's a possibility he could also run in The Hunter," Lees said.
