The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly Dame Giselle was quite impressive in winning here. Having her second race start, she began quickly and then settled in fourth place on the rails from her good barrier (3). She went through to third on straightening, eased into clear running at the 200m, raced to the front at the 100m and drew away to score decisively. See You Soon was eased from her wide barrier (13), settled in third last place in the 14-runner field, went through on the inner to be seventh at the 400m and then finished well when clear late to take second in a photo in a smart performance. The winner's stablemate Blaze A Trail showed good pace and soon went to the front. He was then pressured in the mid-stages (by Malkovich) and did well in holding on for third after leading to the 100m in a promising debut. The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained filly Cellsabeel settled near the tail of the field from a wide barrier (14) and then ran on very well in the centre of the track for (4.8 lengths) fourth in a promising debut. Her stablemate and favourite Tanker was seventh early on from his inside barrier (1), improved between runners nearing the home turn, moved up at the 300m and then battled on for (6.6 lengths) fifth.
