My Dreamliner To Return A Winner

3 minute read

The lightly raced My Dreamliner appears well placed to make a winning return on Sunday night, when due to contest the ninth event.

A winner of three of his five starts, My Dreamliner has displayed above average ability and creates plenty of interest in the Class 3 contest.

A dominant winner in Class 4 company last start, he does have to take that next step, but is unbeaten fresh (3/3) and has drawn to take control.

My Dreamliner has won three of four attempts on the polytrack and has won two of three attempts over 1000m.

His latest trial under Benny Woodworth was solid enough and should give him a good platform for Sunday's event.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, he sits top and given he is only lightly raced, you wouldn't be surprised to see him go a step further.

At his best when leading, expect CC Wong to bounce him out and take up the running.

They should fly over the 1000m journey, but with a few cheap sectionals out in front, My Dreamliner should prove very hard to gun down.

The Shane Baertschiger trained Kiss Your Song finished seventh last start, but wasn't disgraced and is certainly more than capable.

While only possessing the three wins to his name (3/27), he has placed on a further 15 occasions and has to be kept safe on the quick back up (9 days).

From the favourable draw, he should land in a lovely stalking position and appears suited by the drop back in trip (placed 11/13).

On best form he rates well and anywhere near his peak, he looms as a major threat.

Last start winner Al Green sets up well with 28 days between runs and while up in grade, Rodd takes over and he has to be respected.

A winner of three of nine attempts over this trip, he comes into it off a peak and only looks to have to repeat that level of performance to be right in the finish again.

Of the rest the Mark Walker trained Man Of Mystery appears the next in line.

A model of consistency, he found the line well behind Red Rover last start and with the aid of the claim, he should be strong late.

Good luck and happy punting.
