RACE 4 (9) BRAZILICA: She was having just her fourth career start when she made a strong return from enforced spell after a bleed when narrowly beaten in a close finish over 1200m at Canterbury on November 15. Further improvement is expected, she's drawn to enjoy a soft on pace passage and following the lead that James McDonald has taken the ride when he had other options in this race.
RACE 8 (10) ALBUMIN: Tricky sprint affair but it sets up nicely for this course specialist, who has won five times on his home track with four of his wins over this trip. Went out in winning form with a game win over this course and distance in June and a sharp Rosehill trial win over 900m on November 14 has him primed to produce a bold fresh effort. He's the value in an open race.
RACE 9 (8) TUNERO: Looking for him to go on from a solid first-up placing when running home strongly for third over 1500m in this class at Randwick on October 26. Likes it longer but he's fresh with a month between runs and James McDonald on board indicates the top stable will fancy his chances in this average field. Worth a play at the price.
