2020 RAMORNIE HANDICAP – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS

Boomtown Lass will spear over from a wide gate ahead a pack of chasers in a fiercely run open stanza to the Ramornie.

SNITZ (2) followed a win in the Listed Takeover Target with a gallant 3rd in the Listed Bob Charley over 1100m at Randwick last start, just 0.7 lengths behind the very smart Classique Legend. Drawn to enjoy a beautiful run up on the speed. Looks set to maintain his unbeaten Grafton record.

SOUTHERN LAD (8) has been well-supported at all four runs this prep but only managed four minor placings, most recently a 3rd over this distance at Rosehill behind Viridine. Finished just ahead of Snitz two runs back so has to be respected.

HIGHTAIL (5) won the Gold Coast Guineas over this distance two starts ago then finished a creditable 3.6 lengths from Tyzone in the G1 1400m Stradbroke most recently. Boasts a fine record at this trip. Drawn ideally and is a winning chance with Bossy aboard. HAUNTED (4) has gone close in his last couple of runs, both over seven furlongs at Flemington. Form at this trip is very strong so expect him to feature.
