Dig Deep's co-trainer Dan Pearce said on TABradio last week the gelding may back-up in the Listed event, provided he came through the Railway Stakes in good condition. Playing Marika is a key absentee from the nominations, with trainer Stephanie Bakranich set to go to the Starstruck Classic in four weeks.
